The Chalk Cemetery Association was established in 1971 and is dedicated to the preservation of Chalk Cemetery and its history. The Association provides care, maintenance, and oversight of the cemetery grounds and the community that supports and is served by Chalk Cemetery.

The purpose of the Association is to bind together in a common interest those people whose loved ones lie in Chalk Cemetery, some for one hundred years. To form, in a manner, “perpetual care” for this spot of ground, that it may not in the future years, become lost and forgotten.
